The TRT Humanitarian Film Festival saw another remarkable year in 2024, featuring a diverse array of films from all over the world. All submissions were screened by an elite panel of judges from the international film industry, including directors, producers, film critics, and actors. Winners were selected over two rounds of judging.
The festival once again held screenings of all our semi-finalist films, with most of the Directors joining us in Istanbul for the event. It was hosted at the Ataturk Cultural Centre in Taksim Square. In addition to that, our Jury Members hosted panel discussions on Humanitarian Filmmaking and Film Analysis, and there was a special Masterclass on Acting with Turkish actor Olgun Şimşek.
